Meet Your Racquet Director
Marlena Hochberg
Marlena been coaching juniors and adults and actively growing the game since 2005. Prior to coaching, Marlena was a nationally top-ranked junior player in singles and doubles in the U.S. and Broward County’s Scholar Athlete of the Year before committing to the Ivy League at Columbia University in New York City where she studied English & Comparative Literature and played for the D1 Lions team. Marlena earned Columbia University’s “Most Outstanding Contribution to a Team” MVP award during her senior year and was recognized by keynote speaker, United States Air Force General Michelle Johnson, during Columbia’s “Varsity C Ceremony for Leadership & Commitment”.
After graduation, Marlena became the Head Coach for Women’s Tennis at Broward College, resurrecting a former nationally ranked program and returning to the women’s team to elite status for 12 years with consecutive winning seasons and a top-3 National Ranking. In addition to her collegiate coaching, Marlena has worked for the Delray Beach Open, a combined men’s ATP Tour and ATP Champions Tour event in Delray Beach, Florida since 2007 until Summer 2023 as their Director of Sports Marketing.

Our tennis pro is here to offer you tennis and pickleball lessons on your beautiful courts! Whether you want individual or group lessons, Marlena will be on-site to manage these requests.
